As part of its mission to support the development of the Tech for Good ecosystem in the UK, the Tech for Good Alliance is developing a network of partners that bring expertise, technology and relationships that are aligned with and strengthen the mission of the Alliance.


BCS, the chartered institute for IT, is a charity with a royal charter - its agenda is to lead the IT industry through its ethical challenges, to support the people who work in the industry, and to make IT good for society. It has over 70,000 members in 150 countries, and a wider community of business leaders, educators, practitioners and policy-makers all committed to its mission.

The Data lab is Scotland’s innovation centre for data and AI. GoCodeGreen is a world leading, independent ClimateTech company focused on measuring and identifying actions to reduce the carbon and environmental impact of digital products and services. Our mission is to help decarbonise the digital world in which we all now live.

Its world-leading diagnosis platform has been recognised with many awards across the world. It was nominated for the Earhsot Prize in the ‘Fix our Climate category. It.gives organisations the tools to measure the carbon impact of digital products and services, helping them to understand how their software products are impacting the climate and work with them to decarbonise digital.


techUK’s mission is to champion its members and their technologies, preparing and empowering the UK for what comes next. It believes that by doing so, it can deliver a better future for people, society, the economy, and the planet. It is committed to supporting emerging social innovators who are tackling today's most pressing challenges through technology, while also demystifying and unlocking tech's potential, making it approachable and accessible for everyone.

techUK’s TechGiving initiative is dedicated to highlighting the remarkable efforts of its members as they participate in charitable events and opportunities that leverage technology for the greater good.


The development of the Tech for Good Alliance is supported by a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund, made possible by National Lottery players. The award provides for match funding of subscriptions from companies that sign up as participating members of the Tech for Good Alliance. This financial support helps to scale the work of the Tech for Good Alliance and increases both the speed of delivery and the reach of the social impact created by the work of the members of the Tech for Good Alliance.
